The team “Recombination, Repair and Cancer” of the Institut Curie has expertise and experience in the fields of DNA repair and nucleic acid development. It works on all cellular pathways directly or indirectly associated to DNA damage signalling such as migration, invasion, secretion, apoptosis or cell death. It is strongly involved in preclinical studies, development of animal models and clinical research. The group has discovered a new original class of DNA repair inhibitors and developed protocols to use these inhibitors in the clinic. Facilities at the Institut Curie include Imagery (microscopy and animals), animal models, Proteomic and Genomic, experimental radiotherapy.
