Project Objectives:

  • Analyse the Extracellular Matrix (ECM) in different cancer cell types before and after radiation
  • Analyse the differences in PAD4 expression in ECM before and after radiation
  • Evaluate the expression of PAD4 and PADs genes and proteins in a panel of different cancer and normal cell lines


  • Cell transfection ( shRNA lentivirus knock down transfection and CRISPR/Cas9 knockout transfection system)
  • Quantitative PCR
  • Extracellular matrix enrichment techniques
  • Mass spectrometry analysis
  • Clonogenic assay
